Input and calling a system from within a system

Hello:

I am including a system (X-SimpleStopLoss) from within a trading system
(TradingSystem1).

So TradingSystem1 has:

IncludeSystem:"X-SimpleStopLoss";

There is a value within the X-SimpleStopLoss system that I made an input
(BackDays) , so that I could vary it on the fly as I learn what it's doing.
But when I apply the system TradingSystem1, the input 'BackDays' is not
carried to the chart, that I can see and modify.  Should it?  Is there
another way to achieve this?
