Re: prime brokerage accounts

The only drawback with prime broker accounts (other than the additional fees) is the higher minimum account size requirements. Other than that, the convenience to trade through any broker is great. Spear, Leeds
& Kellogg has a decent prime broker program and their REDI platform is nice for equities and can handle futures. Also, customers like hearing their money is held at a division of Goldman Sachs rather than some no name broker.

Good luck trading,

Seth

DISCLAIMER: I used to be a proprietary trader and employee of Spear, Leeds and Kellogg, but currently have no interest in the firm--Just like their product and service.

P.S. Bank of America also has a good prime broker program.
