Tradestation seems to have adopted a 3 month cycle for new releases and are
releasing bug fixes very quickly after introducing a new ver, it all doesn't
really basically seem all that bad to me, I have no experience with any
product past 2000i however.
I have been on a team that was collecting bug reports from people testing
software, it was complex stuff for a medical device. We were finding and
fixing 700 problems a week for many, many weeks, and we had a staff of
educated and experienced people writing the stuff too. It just is not that
easy. If Tradestation is fixing small stuff in the most recent daily
releases and the software is basically working then they are doing a pretty
good job and have a very good chance of having an excellent product.
