Apparently the old syntax for dde from Omega only applies to TS4. If you use
esignal for TS2000i you can use their syntax directly in an excel
spreadsheet for any symbol in your Global Server sample:
=WINROS|LAST!'$INDU' - this would give you a last price for the Dow cash
symbol. There is a dde topics and other sections that you can find in
esignal Help. Also look in your esig folder for samples. By the way NetDDE
is automatically disabled by TurboManager data feed in esignal. That means
no across LAN dde links to excel.
I thought most data feeds tend to have a dde set up.
