How to stop repeating 'beep"...TS2000i?

Every 30 seconds I hear a beep, sounds like an alert beep but I can't find
where it is coming from, and there is no alert window visible. I created a
Tracking Center page but there is no current alert showing, just one from a
day ago.  I deleted that page just in case.

I may have accidentally turned off the Alert window but I haven't found a
place to do or undo this.  In the meantime the beep continues.

Any suggestions?
