Isn't perl a programming language ? If so, it will give you a very steap
learning curve wich i would not want to use.
Ultra Edit is very simple. Only 1 very important thing for the time
shift ! You need to set it in Column Mode !! With that you can move
complete columns up and down and from right to left using cut and
paste.
Using HistoryCenter, you just follow the import wizard and convert
your data to TS format.
Then there is TS... exporting the data through the view data window
is again as simple as right clicking in the data window and choosing
export.
All toghether not a real high learning curve.... Also no need to learn
to program in perl...
I would say follow the easy way. Trading is hard enough :-)
