Hello jack,

jz> Hi David: Does this mean that Oddball's stellar performance (which

i think that like everything in life you have to look at the
perspective and circumstances. modeling any type of breakout on cash
would have less replicable results than a counter trend system. In
fact depending upon the type of modeling a cash based testing can
yield poorer results in some cases on cash than actual futures.

also time frame has allot to do with it, typically the lower the time
frame examined the less likely a fill would be able to take place.

there have been some independent tracking of oddball by various groups
and persons actually trading it. i have heard reports all over the
place as far as profitability. i would say that you need only to look
at oddball trades to determine if there are over whelming numbers of
instances you could have gotten a better price. it's not exactly a
price movement chaser like most people model.

not say that's bad or good just saying that when comparing apples and
oranges your taste has to come into play eventually no matter what the
results are. obviously oddball is not for most people, that may be a
good thing for it's longevity.
