mixing tick charts with other data streams

Thanks to those who replies to my question,.  I understand that what I wish
to accomplish can (and has) been done thru the use of DLL's but my program
skills are largely inadequate for the task, although I could probably muddle
thru in a year or so.  Would it be possible to bring a data from a second
stream  using a globally declared array that included a data point  and a
time-stamp?  Anbody have any ideas?
