Elevate the dish to about 20 degrees above where you think it should be.
Aim it correctly using a compass. Lower it a little bit and sweep left and
right slightly. If you don't get a signal, lower it just a bit more and
sweep. Repeat until you get a signal. If you don't get the signal, elevate
the dish to 30 degrees above where you think it should be and repeat the
process. Lower slowly and sweep slowly.

I am trying to set up the sat on dtn and cannot figure out how to get the
dish aimed is there something I am missing it is starting to make me nuts.
I know it is supposed to be 55 elev and 178 horiz for houston texas but all
this damn receiver does is beep anyone have any tips
