Would second the vote for Singapore as a place to live - great place.

There are very many such links available if you do a quick google search.
Bottom line is you have to do it very carefully if you want to avoid
continued liability for US taxes. Interestingly from this site, and I have
seen this elsewhere, they state that if you have an income >100k/year or net
worth >500k that it is presumed by the IRS that you are leaving the US for
tax purposes only.
While tax reasons are a very important factor in deciding where to live,
quality of life is becoming much more important in this day and age - and
the US is becoming a much less attractive place to live based on this.
