This appears to be the solution.  I installed the new DLL after 
the close yesterday, and so far this morning I don't see any of 
the weird behavior I was seeing before.  My system is also a lot 
snappier.  It was getting very bogged down before, apparently 
because of all the replotting TS was doing, but now TS and GS 
combined are only running at about 10% CPU usage.
