Clive,

The SP5 CD is a complete instillation of the program. DO NOT use any
old versions first. I would suggest you check out the good forever
KEY on the sheet Omega sent you. It should show it is key 3. You can
test it by turning off all Omega Research products on your current
computer then put the SP5 Cd in and tell it to install. It will come
to the page that shows the password and it will show your password.
So you can simply check it against the one you have on paper. Stop
the instillation after you check the password out. You can install
SP5 on as many computers as you want to and the password is
always the same.

As to your data, workspaces and templates the important folders are
MyWork, PDS (under server), templates (if you have any) and universe.
What I do is copy the whole Omega Research folder to the drive I want
to use then install the program right on top of it. The program files
are not very big and the data is usually huge so a few more files of
coping is nothing verses the easy of just saying copy Omega Research
folder. Be sure you check your holiday list after the new
instillation on the new computer to be sure you have current holidays in it.
I've done this many many times and it works perfectly. I have far too
much data to export it and export is not nearly as exacting as
copying.

Here is what I would do on a new computer. I would get the machine up
and running then shut it down and put the drive from the old computer
in the new one set up the old drive as a D: or whatever then simply
copy the whole omega research folder to C:\Program Files\ where the
normal instillation is going to happen. Then disconnect or remove the
old computer drive and install SP5. If you are going to network the two
machines then you can move the folder that way very easily instead of
moving the drive.

Let me know if you have any questions.
