I think you've aimed your comments at the wrong target this time, VK.....
My opinions are based on my creation of a copyrighted 1,800+ function point
analysis list and method, that I used to evaluate the software packages.
As you well know, no one can write a book of details in an email posting. My
own website (slowly developing) will have more details in copyrighted form,
many months from now.
I have shared these three Order Execution, Charting & Studies and Scanning &
Filtering spreadsheets, containing 1,800+ function points, with several
trading software companies. Some, such as MetaStock, came looking for me.
To the best of my knowledge, no one else has ever so thoroughly evaluated
trading software like I have done. Certainly not Active Trader, Futures nor
Stocks & Commodities magazines. Nor any of the 3,000+ trading and investing
websites that I've visited over the last two years. And not any trading
software company with whom I've had significant contact.
FYI I am a former CIO and IT VP, and highly competent technically....build
my own PCs from parts since 1982, beta test for some software companies,
including trading software companies....and I've been investing and trading
for years. In 92 was named one of the top 100 IT exec's by ComputerWorld.
Listed in many Who's Who references. MBA. CDP. CSP. Mensa. Lots of IT stuff
published. Etc.
Next time you wish to cast doubt upon someone, do it with facts not
innuendos. Spend your time making your own software better. What are your
credentials and experience that give you credibility to cast vague innuendos
on summaries intended to be only summaries?
Trust is a fragile thing. You've cast doubt upon your trustworthiness and
objectivity, VK.

some valuable information that all you should know. With out trying to

What does Vince mean, no other software has what?
What does he mean by an older package?
Not that I ma trying to defend "Ensign" or saying he is right or wrong,
but there is NO information. To have an opinion is easy, to reasoning it
and defend it in an argument is what is needed before information should
go out as is.
Do you see what I mean?
