I started out with 3.1 back in 1993, and, was probably the last person
to upgrade to 3.5 and then 4.0. I migrated to TS2K when, on my machine, 4.0
hit the proverbial brick wall with the advent of Jan 1st, 2000.

As a TradeStation Open Platform developer, my indicators and paintbars
were required to be compatible with TS6. So we upgraded last summer with
both our machines.

As Richard stated, the convenience of not having to maintain data or
deal with Global Server is an amazing thing. In addition, IMHO, they got
most of the rest of it right, too. Example: Not one bad tick nor even the
hint of a crash in the past 3+ months. Example: Not having to reboot for any
reason for weeks on end. Example: Working and trouble-free toolbars.Example:
Being able to pull up ANY common stock at a moments notice and have a
history to analyze (same thing for the CBOT and CME futures(they being the
two futures exchanges I subscribe to)).

Granted, the code, functions, etc, behind my Bullseye Indicators is not
"rocket science" by any measure, but still, no problems with EL either.

Might be worth considering....would be glad to answer any questions
about TS6 via private mail.
