I have owned both versions of HistoryCentre for over a year and find
them very useful.
They allow a lot of flexibility in the input data format and this
results in the difficult set-up. But once you find the correct setup
for your data, you can keep using that setup without any additional
effort.
I agree that the documentation is not up to the standards we have
come to expect and could be improved. But when I have had problems,
Andrew responds quickly with help. He even built me a modified
version once to handle some weird input format.
But the code works flawlessly. I have used to to build an enormous
OMZ file from a 112 MB ASCII file of continuous contract data. I
think every TS4.0 or TS2000i user should have this tool.
