Hello Alex,
AM> The owner of a server can choose to block anybody for any reason,
AM> and there is nothing anybody can do about it.
NO NOT! If that owner is holding himself out as a ISP provider, they
are doing what is the equivalent of going thru your mail and deciding
for you what will be delivered and what will not! That is CRIMINAL!
AM> If, by blocking certain traffic, an ISP makes itself less valuable
AM> to its customers, the customers leave. That's market forces in
AM> action.

In today's computerized world it is everyone's responsibility to
maintain a secure system.
"But, if I can draw the analogy that just because everyone should wear
a computerized bulletproof vest doesn't mean that shooting people to
find out who isn't wearing one is the best answer. If administrators
choose to do this, then perhaps they shouldn't be surprised that they
will occasionally be confused with the type of individual they are
fighting against.
