Has anybody seen the problem in TS5 (build 822) where
TS will chart 60' bars like this
9:30
10:30
11:30
12:30
1:30
2:00
Notice how it made the 1:30 bar 1/2 hour instead of
the 2:30 bar (not shown). It also only plots 6 bars
each day whereas TS4 and TS6 plot 7 each day. All
symbols use exchange times which are 9:30am to 4:00pm.
Natural bars are off.
This is historical data only. I'll watch Mon and see
how the bars form real time. But this could explain
why signals are different when you reload the chart
from when the chart formed real time.
Mine plots like this and it runs on it's own machine
which means nothing could possibly have inteferred.
No wonder results don't match TS6 or TS4. TS6 charts
60' bars the way TS4 does.
But it only gets better. Try changing the exchanges
(NASDAQ) start and end times to say 6:30 to 5:00pm and
watch TS5 plot a 6:30 bar occasionally throughout the
chart. It doesn't happen on all days just some. It
will be a small bar at the beginning of the day with a
6:30 label which means 5:30-6:30 data which you didn't
ask for.
This is a serious, fundamental problem. I'm surprised
TRAD hasn't been sued for misrepresentation and fraud.
You can't trade with this or even do research with it
(at least on 60' bars).
