Reversing a Position

I've had TS6 for about two weeks and I've
been waiting over a week for a response from Tradestation
on this one.

Real simple:

What's the proper way to reverse a position?

If I'm short one on the chart and code to buy 2 to reverse it,
the Performance Report shows the SExit for the position and then
it shows I'm still long 2.

What's the proper way to do this?  Well, I know the proper way,
what's the "TradeStation" way?
