I thought I would toss out a dissenting voice in regards to eSignal because
I have been very satisfied with both their product and customer service. In
regards to cost, they have several different packages depending upon your
data needs that range from $80 a month for the indexes, 50 stocks and the
Minis to $150 a month for more extensive coverage (plus exchange fees).

I can't argue with the difficulty of managing GS at times however there is a
charting app that comes with eSignal which pulls the data off their servers.
It has limitations but can be very useful. You can also get refresh data
from eSignal using Dynaloader for eSignal. But I have found that regardless
of data vendor, if you're using the Net for receiving data then it's best to
have redundancy in both net connections and datafeeds. Being down for any
length of time for any reason results in opportunity costs far exceeding the
price of a datafeed/net connection.

In regards to getting TS6 for free if you use Omega's brokerage, well,
that's not something I would ever consider doing.
