Jim,your an engineer and computer whiz, so your
obviously logical.  Logically solving the issue I
bring up cannot be directed towards the companies
until we first define what Real Time is, legally.  If
the companies are within their rights, the problems
they have getting there data out is an issue that has
no legal consiquence, only commercial.  If however,
the FCC defines 'EAL TIME'as say,... "within 10 sec.
from reception from exchange" then, the companies that
do not meet the requirements have a problem... but not
until the definition of 'REAL TIME' comes to light. 
Thus the question remains, What Is Real Time?
