Rich, I tried GET a couple of years ago and didn't like it. It was very good
at telling you what happened after the fact, but not so great in predicting
direction.
GET is designed as a stand alone package that includes common indicators
that are already part of Tradestation, so in that regard, you're throwing
money away. There a few proprietary indicators that come with it but as I
said, they're not that good at indicating market movement.
The software came with an extensive amount of support material, including
video and manual but after dedicating many, many hours of time to it, I was
not impressed with its' performance and was not working for my needs.
The situation was made worse with a software glitch that would close down
the program while I was using it. Tech support could not figure it out and
told me that there was nothing they could do for me. I returned it and got
my money back minus over $200. It was an expensive lesson in Dollars and
time.
