More accurately - the Windows 2000 Pro's "Scheduled Task" program can
launch one Trade Station Workspace with Charts - but after that it cannot
launch additional TS Workspaces.
The ability to (pre)schedule the automatic opening of multiple TS
Workspaces early in the morning saves a Trade Station user much time versus
opening them manually.
The file tree path that displays in the Schedulers fields after right
clicking the "Scheduled Task" Item for launching a Trade Station Work Space
are as follows:
RUN : "C:\Program Files\Omega Research\MyWork\Original Work\"Name of
Custom TS Workspace"
START IN: "C:\Program Files\Omega Research\MyWork\Original Work"
The problem seems to be that once the initial Workspace has been opened,
Task Manager cannot open the next Workspace Task because it thinks it is
opening Trade Station itself - and Trade Station is already open.
Should I try altering the File Path of the task from what it displayed
above? How?
Suggestions welcome and desperately needed - I have a lot of work to open in
the morning!!!!
