Re: canadian brokers

Apparently this is a Canadian Government initiative designed to protect us
feeble-minded Canadians from the big bad US con-men/brokers. Unless they
register in Canada, they can't have Canadian clients without risking a
lawsuit from the Canadian Government. I had to clear out my Cyberbroker
account a couple of weeks ago for that reason. I still have an inactive
TerraNova account. I suspect that if I tried to trade it, I would be told
to buzz off also.

Meanwhile, your best bet as a Canadian daytrader is to take the Bright
Trading plunge, get your Series 7 license and go professional. They have a
proven system that they teach you for a fee. They have 1 cent / share
commissions, and you only have to deal with one income tax bureaucracy
(Canada's). You also get virtually unlimited access to their trading
capital.

They currently have an office in Langley, BC (near Vancouver) but will be
opening a Toronto office soon. www.stocktrading.com is the url.
