Best practice for reinstalling TS2000 with May/1999 HistoryBank CD?

One of the challenges of using TS2K is to maintain the
data. If one needs to reinstall from scratch TS2000
with May/1999 HB CD, what is the best practice?

Overall, the TC2000 data quality is good. It allows
one to export data into a text file.  Is there any
way to user data from TC2000 for TS2000: 1) Historical
data, 2) daily update?

Would appreciate some pointers on these.
