Stock picking web sites, gurus, witches

I've looked at a zillion stock pick sites, many, many
of them do not report results accurately. Some have
problems in the math used to calculate annual returns,
some will have "technical difficulties" on bad months
but can get the results published otherwise, some will
use the opening price on the day you were supposed to
buy the issue whereas it would be impossible to get it
anywhere near that price because it was rising
extremely quickly, etc., etc.
