I should add one other element to my earlier diatribe which is related to
factors that will determine your success, or lack thereof.
If you look you will notice that most folks are primarily focused on
Entries. I would submit that while important, entries are by far NOT the
most important element to trading well. It is what you do while IN THE
MARKET, i.e. exits/trade management that is considerably more important than
how/where you originally entered.
This also relates to the mentoring section in my previous email. Anyone who
only teaches you how to enter the market while focusing little (or no) time
or attention on what to do once in the market is doing you a tremendous
disservice. This is akin to teaching you how to dive into the lake without
first teaching you how to swim (or at least giving you a life jacket).
Again, this is something that most take for granted (I sure did), but will
eventually discover is quite important.
I realize that my entire diatribe in response to your post is likely not
what you wanted to hear or receive. But hopefully someday you will come to
appreciate its contents.
