yep. it is the first version we offer backtesting,
so keep it simple such that it will not steer to
the wrong direction too early too far :)

optimization will be offered when the system testing
part is more mature - I do not like putting in
features that will become useless.

yep. 8 per indicator at the moment, not because
of architecture issue, but would like to offer
a crisp UI for normal real time usage. If there
are better ideas to present unlimited parameters
with customizable dropdown like what we have now,
will change UI to take unlimited parameters :)

The scripting is based on MS Scripting Technology,
and from what I have done so far, I can tell without
proper coding of the core evaluation engine, you can
expect real slowness in calculation, maybe Wealth-Lab
suffers that?

Try the demo with EOD data to check out the speed
issue
yourself. NeoTicker can grab Internet based daily
data directly and can run in offline mode. So you
do not need to scramble for a datafeed to work with
it :)

TS4 is based on direct array access with EL.
It is fast.

NeoTicker is object oriented, providing more
flexibility, at the cost of slightly slower speed.
For complex calculation, you can always use DLL ...

Aside from being one of the primary developer of
NeoTicker, I still trade real time :)
Dropped TS4 from my backup feed since NeoTicker
went v1.3 as I finally moved all the indicators I
currently use over to NeoTicker.
