I had the misfortune of working for Omega. And I find it quite funny that
since the time that I left (Nov 2000) Omega had been promising SP6 and it’s
funny that almost 8 months later that Omega is still dancing around the
issue. Let me give you the skinny:

Almost from the beginning of the 2000i products, there were meetings on how
they were focusing on getting a piece of the brokerage commission pie. So
almost from the inception of the 2000i product line, it was not considered
to be their flagship product for much longer. During these meeting it was
discussed how profitable being a brokerage would be. There was a plan to
make the system free if you met a certain number of trades (Which would have
made sense but then again this is the Cruz brothers)

My point being that from the get go 2000i was considered the bastard child
of Omega product lines. The fact that Service Pak 6 was been promised for
over 1 year and they have not delivered should be prove enough that they
don’t care about 2000i. And you don’t have to tell me. I lived it and I know
how they feel internally about this product.

How much proof do you guys need to see that Omega toys with its clientele
and that is one of the worst things that a company can do. It’s time to jump
this sinking ship. I am glad I did.
