OK, I have gotten myself curious now and while I am not ready to do the
project quite yet....does anybody have any idea what someone proficient in
ela would charge, let's say by the hour, to put together a system based on
my ideas and using some known, proprietary indicators? What I have in mind
is rather simple, at least I believe it is. It would use 3 or 4 unrelated
indicators that would all, individually, have to fire before the *system*
would generate a buy or sell signal. When the conditions are met, it would
trigger an alert and tell me my conditions are met...time to look at
entering a trade. When I say simple, I mean rather than staring intently at
the charts with my 55 yr old eyes, waiting and trying to decide exactly when
Stochastics crosses up through the twenty band, the computer can do it
mathematically, simply, without the stress and strain and when that happens,
plus when 2 0r 3 other indicators meet their conditions......I get an alert
and a buy or sell signal. I am not talking about being away from the screen
but just not having to stare and watch so intently and get an alert.
Actually I am thinking, to simplify, making it into a *SAR* system...stop
and reverse.
So without any guess as to the time involved, without going into it deeper
and with more details, how much can I expect to pay, by the hour for such
skills? I own TS 2000i.
