Jim,

My focus is just the big S&P contract, short term/daytrading so I only save
about 100 symbols... futures, indices, a few stocks and market internals, at
the moment with a P2 350, 256k. Going back five years i've only consumed 4
out of 10 gigs on my current system. I do want to do more on the new system
that will be computation intensive (1 min crunches) and will save some more
stocks and options...possibly keeping an eSignal connection open to track
new stocks of interest. But I've already got more than enough to occupy my
eyeballs and attention.

The new system came a 10 gig drive and I've got an 8.4 gig still in its box
so I'm ok for now...but will definitely get a bigger size drive the next
time i need to make a purchase.

Do you have any special settings or operating practices to keep your sytems
perking along with all that data flow?
