RE: weird problem with my TS2K charts

PureBytes Links

Trading Reference Links

Dear John,

Thanks, this works fine!
But I noticed that when I make multiple symbol selections, these symbols
have to have the same type of resolutions in the "History to save" tab. I
mean I won't see the "5 min trade Record" resolution if it does not exist in
only one of these highlighted symbols.

Anyway, by selecting a group of symbols with similar resolutions, I can then
select "History to save" and delete the Trade Record 5 min resolution.
Afterwards, as you mentioned it, TS can now display 5 min charts.

(I also just wanna say that yesterday, I tried by deleting all the *. idx
files and also the GSQF.dat, GSQF.mst, sysevent.dat files, and
unfortunately, this did not helped me to fix this kind of charting problem).

Greetings from Paris and have good trades.

Philippe

I was able to solve this problem a few months ago by deleting the 5
minute data files for the effected symbols. Seems to me that these files
became corrupted, preventing the building of any chart with a
compression time multiple of 5. Once these files were removed all time
compressions were successfully created.

It's possible to delete all the 5 minute data files by first clicking
edit then select all. The right click the highlighted symbols, click
edit data, then history to save, then highlight and delete the 5 minute
data.
