I had the same thing happen to me...(when I tried to get to the
Inbox, an illegal error occurred).
Uninstall and then reinstall OE.
If that doesn't work, then manually uninstall (see MS website) OE
to get it completely uninstalled. Then reinstall.
Worked for me.
