So has anyone got 14 volumes on cd ?
I am willing to buy or trade.

I agree with the "2 on a 10-point scale" rating of the Putt and Tennis
books. They're ok as references but not for learning how to use
EasyLanguage. Starting as a non-programmer, I found the EasyLanguage User's
Manual and instructional video narrated by Bill Cruz that came with v.4 to
be very good because they contained a lot of examples of how to do things.
I was able to write my first (very simple) trading system the first time I
sat down with the EasyLanguage User's Manual. Although EL has been upgraded
in TS2000i the v.4 stuff would still be valuable for beginners. By far the
best source for learning EasyLanguage, for me at least, has been the System
Trading and Development Club, a bimonthly or quarterly publication of Omega
Research which eventually reached 14 volumes. I think they have
discontinued it but as of last summer it was being offered as a CD with all
14 volumes on it. Each volume contained from 8 or 10 trading systems,
complete with entry and exit signals and accompanying text explaining how
the system was supposed to work and line-by-line explanations of what the EL
code was doing at each step. I'm not endorsing the "systems" and indicators
in STAD, but its the best published source that I know of for learning EL
(by example).
