The IB web site states, and their help desk confirmed, that all stop limit
orders are simulated (ie stored on the IB system) even though other brokers
store stop limit orders on Globex2.  That feature may be a source of
slippage.

Probably connected with the above - IB does not confirm stop limit cancels
with a tracking number that can later be used as evidence in case of a
dispute.  I use cancels a lot, and this introduces an amount of uncertainty
in your trading.

I have been interested in IB for some time, but have not yet given them a
try.
