i don't use matlab for trading but i do
use it for research.
if you are good with C++ you can
code your own platform for trading right in it.
they have various toolboxes to go with it,
interface to excel and bloomb.
the syntax is just as easy as easy language.
compiler option is there.
all the good stuff is there.
better yet you can port TS to matlab...
