Hello Monte,

I believe my installation experience with win2k is that it has never
asked me for an upgrade cd, though this is so in win98 or win98 SE,
though I might have been using the full version, I can't recall
specifically.

But if it does prompt you for a cd, it's no big deal at all, from my
experience w/ win98 upgrades.

I haven't heard too much about XP but from what I've heard, I believe
it might be a "dummy" down of win2k in order to get more people to buy
it. I've also read on numerous occasions that XP will be subscription
based, meaning you'll have to call Bill every once in a while for a
key so that you can you your OS. I know few win2k users that are
screaming to upgrade to XP.

If you have problems w/ your win2k installation, I'm no guru but I do
know a little bit so feel free to zip me questions if you have any.
