Sylvia:

Why would you compromise your system for the goal of testing it. You can
easily do that yourself or hire an individual you can trust. So I assume
there must be another goal related to publicity. And that goes to the heart
of why most experienced traders consider systems that are being sold for
profit as snake oil: if someone has such a good system, the thinking goes,
why would you compromise it so that you can sell it to inexperienced traders
rather than trade it yourself. One would expect the profits can be much
better if you trade it yourself over a longer period rather than a short
period of snake oil sales. Thus, I will continue to be very suspicious of
systems sold for profit. Similarly indicators. So if you have something
that good, why not keep it that way?

You will need to disclose the rules so they can program it into
Excaliber. They may also add it to their portfolio of systems that they
will trade when managing money. You will not get anything from them if
they do.
