After reading Bilo's posts, I have done my own testing.
Here is the situation.
Pentium IV 1.5 Ghz 256 Mb Ram ( 400 Mhz)
HD 40 Gb 5600 rpm Ufast IDE
OS: win2000 SP1
Display : 1 Sony GMD FW900 ( 24') +1 Panasonic Pro 21'
( 1900 x1200 + 1600x1200),video 2* Riva TNT32 AGP and PCI
Internet access : ADSL ( from France)
TS Pro running :
25 5 min charts usin the most active stocks (in one workspace), 5 days back
ie:
25 systems ( dmi crossover)
25 indicators ( DMI +-, adx)
10 Nasdaq level II windows ( stocks from above list) in a second workspace
3 Tracking center windows in a third workspace
Other appl running:
2 MSIE 5.5
Outlook 2000
MS Word 2000
I have attached in the following message the UC performance chart when
Workspace 1, 2 and 3 were in the foreground.
Bilo is somewhat correct when he days that the Tracking center pegs the CPU
at 100 %, but not allt he time.
This disappears when switching back and forth the workspace. However the
tendancy to have a high CPU load is more obvious with
the tracking center in the foreground.
last display:
CPU when running Prosuite 2000 along with TS Pro ( same workspace)
