This topic was discussed here a few weeks ago. The suggestion from
Omega, provided by an Olister, was:
It seems that an entry in you registry got corrupted. Please delete the
following registry keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Omega Research\TradeStation by Omega
Research\ChartToolbar-Bar0
...ChartToolbar-Bar1
...ChartToolbar-Bar2
...ChartToolbar-Bar3
If there are more than Bar0 to Bar3, delete those as well.
This worked for the lister, but did NOT work for me. TS continued to
become more and more unstable. I called them and they suggested
removing all traces of TS from the disk (not just an uninstall, which
leaves a lot still there), and reinstalling TS.
I did reinstall and it did restore the toolbars, but I have not set up
more custom ones since then (I am working on another, more serious,
crash-level problem with Omega). TS2k has been reinstalled quite a few
times :-((, and toolbars have come back in the past, only to disappear
again from some unknown cause. It seems to be a perennial problem with
TS, and, judging from my email, lots of people seem to have it.
If you DO find a permanent cure, please let us all know.
