The Omega Research Knowledge Base seems to be inaccessible, so I have to ask
the assistance of members of the Omega List.
I am attempting to load TS4 under Win2000, something I have done
successfully before. This time, however, I get the message: "Error:
SSIPDDP.SYS device driver not loaded." In the Knowledge Base, it says to log
out and log in again when this happens. This has no effect. When I attempt
to load the Server, I get the I.D. window, then my computer beeps and server
disappears.
I have done the following:
1. Copied SSIVDDP.DLL to the WINNT\SYSTEM32\ folder.
2. Copies SSIDDDP.SYS and SSIPDDP.SYS to the WINNT\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ folder.
3. Put the line: DEVICE=SSIDDP.SYS in the CONFIG.NT file.
4. Put the line: SET SSI_ACT=2,2,20 in my autoexec.bat file.
5. Made entries into the Registry under a new key "SSIPDDP" as outlined in
the README.NT file.
At this point, I am stumped and may have to start from scratch.
Any suggestions?
