Re: Global server repair

When this happened here, a tech suggested the following:

Shut down the global server ( it would not run anyway).
You might also back up the files listed here just in case - the tech did not
suggest this.

(Assuming TS2K is in C:\Program Files\Omega Research directory - otherwise
choose the apropriate path.)

In the C:\Program Files\Omega Research\Server directory, delete
sysevent.dat, symswap.dat, perfmon.dat, GSQF.dat, & GSQF.mst

Then in the C:\Program Files\Omega Research\Server\pds, directory delete ALL
the .idx (Iindex) files ( NOT the .dat files unless you want to kiss your
data goodbye.).

Then in the C:\Program Files\Omega Research\Server\ORMD\Data directory,
delete ALL files. This is the directory that manages the down loads from
historybank.

Now run the global server. It will seem to take forever but if you look in
the pds directory you can gauge progress by watching the .idx (Iindex) files
being rebuilt.

Good luck
