Dual Processor , any benefit to it ???

My computer
Ram 384
Processor Intel 650 MHZ
HD 20 Gig

I understand that you can have two processors on the motherboard, so I guess 
that this gives heaps more speed in calculations. (my guess)

When running Ts2000i, waiting for the hourglass to finish calculations can 
be a pain.

Does any one have a Dual processors and how does it improve Ts2000i running. 
Do you recommend it.

Please comment on the benefits to Dual processing, is realy twice as good.
