i see that i did't state this correctly at the end. my apologies.

i want to take a known trend line, pick a third point and draw a line
through it that is parallel to the known trendline. i apologize for the
incoherent writing. my brain is in programmer mode i guess.

thanks in advance,

jh

Subject: back to the well again... parallel trend lines

i have YET ANOTHER question to pose to this most helpful body.

is there a way to specify and draw a line parallel to a trend channel in
easy language or, failing that, does easy language allow you to specify a
start date and an angle for a line?

please note that i don't want to connect two known points. i want to draw a
parallel line through a known trend line or pair of points.

thanks,

jh
