Doing a little research on laptops. Seems like I read somewhere that
most of the top selling laptops (Dell, IBM, Gateway, Compaq, etc) are
made by only a few different maufacturers. Does anyone know if this is
true and if so, who are the manufacturers? Do these manufacturers sell
direct to the public?
