Jurik "low" lag

Does anybody has used the Jurik Research tools. (www.jurikres.com)
Does it worth spend $500 around for its indicators ???
Or do i need to reduce my MA length in my indicators to reduce lag??
Of course, if i compare Jurik MA, for example of 20 days, with a EMA of
same length, obviously Jurik outperform. But what happen if i reduce the

EMA length to 10 days to avoid a large lag. Should it be continue
outperforming.??
Any help, experience, advice will be welcome.
