TS 2000 allows independent scales on the left and right sides of a chart
and any subgraphs. The choice is set in "Format Window" and by right
clicking in the area on the far left or right side. For two plots in a
subgraph, one can be scale right and the other left.
If all the plots in a subgraph are to be scaled to the same scale then
there are two choices. Each indicator can be scaled using "User defined"
or "Same as symbol". "User defined" has the distraction that, in RT,
the indicator can move out of the range of the fixed values in "User
defined" and off the chart. "Same as symbol" will always show the
indicator in the whole chart.
"Same as symbol" does not necessarily relate to the symbol value. It
only means, scale EVERY plot in the same subgraph to the same scale,
whatever is dictated by the highest and lowest values of the various
plots in that subgraph. For showing all plots to the same scale, "Same
as symbol" is probably the best.
"Entire data series" and "screen" are the same except "Entire data
series" uses all the data points, not just the ones showing in the
screen.
Speaking of scaling, a "Show Me" differs from an "Indicator" only in
that a "Show Me" is always scale to "Same as symbol".
