RE: online orders

I happened to notice today that Datek is phasing in Option orders. For now,
it seems that they only do simply call and put purchases and will implement
spread, et al "later this year" (so Q2 2001, right?). Remember, these are
the people who give discounts for order flow, no commissions if they don't
fill within 60 seconds, and they have their own ECN! I hope they do to
options what they did to stocks.
$9.99 + $1.75/contract

For now, it's not enough for real trading. I have heard good things about
Dreyfus, but see Micheal Berger's post since I've only heard good things.

Don't know if I'd call it "specializing", but Dreyfus is pretty good and
has the lowest commissions I've found --
