Hello Ron,

i would like to understand this better, using dynastore you could
bring in quote.com data as if it were signal data - into ts. then you
could save or paste out that data from ts just as you would have if
you collected the data from a signal data feed?

>> Yes, Dynastore Light emulates Signal data. We convert the quote.com
symbols into DBC format, i.e. ES00Z ->> ES Z0. Data is stored in the Omega
Server (TS4) or Global Server (TS2K) just as if it had come from Signal.

however its my
understanding that the history that quote.com provides can not -
itself - be imported into ts? rather you must be perfectly online and
collecting each tick in order for all of this to work?

>> This is where DynaLoader comes in. It downloads historical tick data
from the quote.com servers for the symbols and time periods you specify and
builds OMZ files which are then imported into TS. We can currently download
tick and daily records (that's all that OMZ files can contain). A future
version will additionally allow you to download 1 min bars, 5 min bars, xx
min bars, etc. and save them into XPO format. DynaLoader is sold as an add
on to Dynastore Light and not as a stand alone product.
