The LIFFE announced they will be the first exchange to introduce futures
contracts on individual international equities, i.e., single stock futures.

The CBOT and CME, within 3 hours, issued a joint press release commenting on
the LIFFE's plans and putting the spotlight on the securities exchanges
putting up roadblocks to progress on repealing the 18 year old Shad Johnson
accord.

Amazing how fast these two exchanges where able to put their differences
aside and issue this statement. Makes one think they knew this announcement
was coming.

The CBOT Directors voted to bring a members vote to bring side by side
trading to the agricultural trading floor. Soon we will have a/c/e trading
of soybeans, corn, wheat, bean oil, meal and rice.

Anyone trade a/c/e bonds yet?
