Just so happens I'm closing my Cyber Corp account today. Their execution
system is very good, and if you are exclusively day-trading, then trade with
Cyber.
However, if you often hold overnight positions, be warned that they do not
permit "substitutions." That is, if you come in with $ 100,000 in positions
($ 50,000 margin), & liquidate in the morning, that $ 100,000 is not free to
be "re-used" until the following day.
I've spent considerable time checking into the various margin regulations.
Bottom line is it depends upon the individual firm's credit policies. I
have a number of accounts: I'm keeping the ones that permit this
"substitution."
With Cyber Corp I found myself trading poorly, as I avoided liquidating
positions knowing that I could not use that equity until the following day.
Again, strictly for day-trading, they are fine.
